This is a drop in Well Baby clinic run by our 0 to 19 Torbay health visiting team and takes place every Monday, 9:30am-11:00am.

A welcoming group where children aged 0-5 years can experience fun activities which help their physical and mental wellbeing.

No need to book, just drop in.

The group will be run by the Torbay Portage Service and offers parents and their children with special educational needs an opportunity to attend a small toddler group.

The aims of the group are:

• To give parents opportunities to meet one another and the Portage Home Visitors and for staff to get to know families and children.
• For parents to be able to ask questions and share support ideas.
• For children to be able to experience accessible play and learning experiences within a small group.
• For staff members to share play and learning ideas to meet young children’s needs.

Help Family Practitioners Help Parents: Let’s Talk About Money Workshops

Can you help us?

We would love parents to help us improve training for Family Practitioners on how to talk to parents about money and give the right support. We will be running 3 workshops in Paignton and Torquay where you can help improve support for families in Torbay.

Thursday December 11th – 12-1:30pm at The Beehive, Paignton.

Workshop Details:

• Held at your local Family Hub in a private, comfortable space.
• Run by two researchers from the University of Exeter.
• A creche will be provided by Family Hub staff.
• Light refreshments will be available.
• As a thank you for your time, you will receive a £30 voucher.

A virtual 10 minute drop-in for parents of children 3 and under and professionals who are concerned about their speech, language, and communication development.

All families will be given advice and/or ideas to try at home.

Every Tuesday, 10am – 3pm

This session will aim to enhance your understanding and awareness of autism. We will cover the three areas of difference that affect autistic and neurodiverse children and young people.

A drop in session for parents who have experienced the removal of a child(ren) from their care, through court proceedings. Information, advice and support available.

If you have experienced child removal, come and meet the team.

An informal weekly drop in where you can have a cuppa, ask any questions, get help with form filling and phone calls and get advice and support.

When: Every Tuesday – 11am-1pm

Where: First Floor, Zig-Zags, 32 Market Street, Torquay
