One to Another: Bump and Beyond - Young Parents Support Group

This is a support group for young parents – aimed at parents 25 and under.

We meet every Monday 10:30am-12pm at the Beehive (except Bank Holidays). Refreshments available.

Parenting and Play Drop Ins

Our Parenting and Play Drop Ins at The Beehive fall on the first Monday morning of the month.

Drop in and join us anytime between 1:00pm-2:30pm for a hot drink, chat and chance to let your little ones play in a safe and welcoming space. This session provides you with a great opportunity to catch up with friends, or even make new ones. We look forward to seeing you there.

Developing Baby

This is a weekly group for parents with their babies (0-12 months) to attend and is based on offering specific advice and guidance for new parents.

Each week there will be a theme focused around your child’s development run by the family hub staff with breastfeeding peer supporters on hand to offer additional support.

    A virtual 10 minute drop-in for parents of children 3 and under and professionals who are concerned about their speech, language, and communication development.

    All families will be given advice and/or ideas to try at home.

    Anaphylaxis Training (Epi-pen)

    This session will be delivered by a Health professional to refresh practitioner knowledge of managing children with allergic reactions.  This training is suitable for anyone working in childcare settings (teachers, mealtime assistants, kitchen staff, playground staff, transport staff)

    This session will help participants to recognise the early signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and when/how to use an adrenalin auto-injector following the Anaphylaxis UK guidelines.  It will also look at allergen avoidance.

    This will take place via Microsoft Teams.
