Collaborating for Stronger Support

Torbay's Parent & Carer Panels

In Torbay what we want to ensure is that there is all the support and help that families need, and to do this we are going to with have established our parent and carer panels.

The panels talk about what works, and what doesn’t work for families, and it’s a chance for parents and carers to meet, socialize and share experiences.

These panels are also a place that parents and carers can communicate with talk and meet with professionals to look at how the Torbay’s family hubs are working, and find ways to improve the work of the hubs and the lives of families in the Bay.

Community organisations support with monthly face-to-face gatherings/meetings in each town, and there will be an online meeting every month for those unable to attend in person.

Would you like to help make sure the Family Hubs work well for all the parents, carers and young people in the Bay?

If you are interested in getting involved, please contact the leads below with your name and contact details, and they will be in touch with you with further information. Thank you.
