Torbay Special Guardianship Support Team are hosting a Kindship Christmas Celebration Event on Tuesday 3rd December, 4pm – 7:30pm, in the Main Hall, Upton Vale Baptist Church, St Marychurch, Castle Circus, Torquay.
This event will celebrate out children who are living with their Special Guardians and Connected Carers.
At the event, there will be festive food and drinks, Christmassy activities, gifts, information, and a very special guest!
Most importantly, there will be awards to celebrate our children.

Baby massage is a 4 week course for parents where you can learn how to massage different parts of your baby’s body. Massage can help your baby with the symptoms of colic, aid digestion and regulate their sleep. It is also a great way to relax, have fun and spend quality time together using music, simple songs and nursery rhymes.

Drop in 1:1 Parenting Conversations
Parenting can be hugely rewarding but it can also be challenging.
We have Duty Family Support Workers available every Wednesday to provide support and advice on parenting for children under 8.
These sessions will take place at The Beehive, Paignton.

This Paignton Baby Weigh In Clinic used to be part of Thriving Child at the Beehive but has now moved to the upstairs room in Paignton Library.
This is a drop in Well Baby clinic run by our 0 to 19 Torbay health visiting team and takes place every Wednesday, 1:30pm – 3:30pm!

This is a weekly group for parents with their babies (0-12 months) to attend and is based on offering specific advice and guidance for new parents.
Each week there will be a theme focused around your child’s development run by the family hub staff with breastfeeding peer supporters on hand to offer additional support.
