Neurodiversity Parent Support Program - Sensory Differences

In this session we will look at what we mean by “Sensory differences”. We will explore the 8 senses and some of the differences that neurodiverse children and young people may experience.

For Antenatal Mums 20+ weeks and their birth partners who live in Torbay.

 

The sessions cover:

– Helping your baby and you through pregnancy and birth.

– Getting to know your baby in the womb.

– You, your baby and the stages of labour.

– Helping you and your baby through labour and birth.

– Feeding your baby.

– Practical session, bathing, holding baby, changing a nappy and more.

You can make a real difference just by talking, playing, singing and sharing books together. Come along – you can your baby or child can make friends, share ideas and activities, and have fun…

    In the group you will get

    • a warm welcome and meet other parents and children
    • tips and activity ideas for things to do in the group and at home
    • singing and stories
    • tips on supporting your child’s learning

    They’re all free or low-cost, and easy to fit into day-to-day life, and they’ll all help your baby or child’s learning.
