Little Explorers

St. Edmunds Family Hub, Victoria Park Rd, Torquay, TQ1 3QH, Devon

The themes of the group during term times will change weekly, with this order being followed:
1. Exploratory Play
2. Physical Fun
3. Messy Play
4. Explore a Story
5. Yoga

No need to book, just drop in.

This session is aimed at children aged 1 and over.

During the school holidays, we will run one these sessions within the community.

Baby Weigh In Clinic

The Barn, Brixham Enterprise Estate, Rea Barn, Brixham, TQ5 9DF

This is a drop in Well Baby clinic run by our 0 to 19 Torbay health visiting team and takes place every Friday, 9:30am – 11:30am.

No Rush To Mush

Would you like more information on when and how to start your baby on solid food? If so, come along to one of our drop in information sessions held each month at our Feed and Nurture Groups. A Community Nursery Nurse will be there with resources and to talk through the process. Please come along If you have any questions or worries about starting solids.

Neurodiversity Parent Support Program - Transitions

In this session we will help you to understand what we mean by transitions and the range of transitions encountered by children and young people.

We explore the impact of transitions on the education and wellbeing of autistic children and young people and the reasons they may require specific enhanced transition support.

Finally, we will discuss how to support autistic children and young people effectively with transitions.

Speech, Language and Communication Group

If your child is aged 2 or under and you have concerns about their speech, language or communication, we’d love to invite you to join our Speech, Language and Communication Group session.

These one-off sessions, lasting an hour and a half, are held at all our hubs and led by Early Years Support Workers. They provide practical advice and guidance to help you support your child’s speech, language and communication skills.
