The Devon and Cornwall Autism Card helps autistic people communicate their needs to others, including emergency services, healthcare professionals and members of the public. The card aims to support understanding and encourage appropriate interactions.

Details

The card allows the holder to discreetly tell others that they are autistic, helping people adjust how they communicate and interact. The card also includes information on the reverse: a website address for more information, and space to add the name and telephone number of an emergency contact.

Eligibility

Available to anyone living in Devon or Cornwall who identifies as autistic. A formal autism diagnosis is not required.

How to access

Individuals can request a card by:

• completing the online request form
• emailing autismcard@dimensionsforautism.life
• leaving a message on 07496 496651

Children and young people under 18 should ask a parent, guardian or carer to request a card on their behalf.
