AIMS service for Autism, ADHD and AuDHD


The A.I.M.S Service provides mentoring, information and support for autistic people, people with ADHD and people with AuDHD. The service offers a supportive space to explore everyday challenges, build confidence and develop practical strategies that support independence and wellbeing.

Details

The A.I.M.S Service offers:

  • Pre-diagnosis and post-diagnosis support
  • Mentoring for autistic people, people with ADHD and people with AuDHD
  • Support to understand and manage social situations
  • Help to develop coping strategies
  • Opportunities to discuss and reflect on experiences
  • Support to promote independence
  • Signposting to advocacy services and other neurodiversity-friendly support
  • Guidance for mainstream services and workplaces on supporting neurodivergent people

The service is a mentoring service rather than counselling or psychotherapy. Sessions are available fortnightly or monthly.

Adults 18+

Eligibility

For autistic people, people with ADHD and people with AuDHD who would benefit from mentoring, guidance and support.
