How we developed the charter
When we developed this charter, people in Torbay told us what matters most to them. We also used the Four Cornerstones of Co-production to help shape our approach.
This charter supports our commitment to the Torbay SEND Strategy. It sets out how we will work together to help every child and young person achieve the best possible outcomes, now and in the future.
Co-production is an ongoing journey. Everyone has a role in helping us shape, deliver and embed it in the way we work.
Building trust is our first step. We will do what we say we will do.
We will respect people’s privacy, confidentiality and right to make their own choices when taking part in co-production.
