Fair Futures Festival

We are excited to announce we are holding a Fair Futures Festival on 9th June 2026

Are you thinking about what comes next?
Turning 16 or 18 can feel like a big step — school changes, support changes, and it’s not always clear what your options are. You’re not alone in feeling that way.

That’s exactly why we’ve created the Fair Futures Festival.

🔎 What’s it all about?

This is a free, drop-in event for young people in Torbay who want to explore their future and figure out their next steps. Whether you already have a plan or no idea where to start, this event is for you.

You’ll find everything in one place — real people, real opportunities, and real support.

💬 What can you do there?

  • Chat to people about jobs, courses, apprenticeships, and training
  • Find out about support for mental health, housing, and wellbeing
  • Discover new opportunities you might not have thought about
  • Ask questions in a relaxed, friendly space (no pressure!)
  • Meet others who are figuring things out just like you

🚀 Why come along?

  • Get ideas for your future
  • Build your confidence
  • Make useful connections
  • Find support that actually works for you
  • Take your next step — whatever that looks like

🤝 Who will be there?

  • Colleges, training providers, and employers
  • Apprenticeship and careers services
  • Youth and community organisations
  • Health and wellbeing support services
  • Housing and advice teams

🌈 Your future, your way

This event is all about helping you feel more prepared, more confident, and more in control of what comes next.

Booking your time slot – when are you planning to attend? You are welcome to stay as long as you like – but knowing what time you are likely to arrive helps us to plan a warm welcome.

  • Between 12 and 1pm – this session is going to be a quiet session.  So, if you prefer quieter environments, this is a good slot for you.
  • 1pm – until you’re ready to leave
  • 2pm – until you’re ready to leave
  • 3pm – until you’re ready to leave
  • 4pm – until you’re ready to leave
  • 5pm – until you’re ready to leave
  • The event finishes at 6pm

We can’t wait to see you!
