Remember, not all children develop at the same rate but during this time I will:

• Understand and enjoy simple jokes
• Understand different question types
• Know that words can have two meanings and them appropriately but can’t always explain how they’re connected
• Use long and complex sentences
• Use questions
• Use everyday language in detail about experiences that may have happened some time ago or are planned for the future
• Negotiate and collaborate
