Poles APart is an alternative provision with a difference and we are proud to be working with young people across Devon and Cornwall. 

Students are with us for up to 15 hours per week and this consists of three days. The standard timetable
involves:

● One day of core subjects e.g. English and Maths

● One day of Wild Minds – outdoor learning activities such as:

• Forest skills
• Hiking and navigation
• Bushcraft
• Team building
• Forest adventures
• Moorland challenges
• Nature walks
• Mindfulness
• Outdoor art
• Beach combing
• Weaselling
• Indoor climbing and bouldering
• Orienteering and geocache

● One day of vocational study – such as:

• Construction
• Art
• Beauty
• Life Skills
• Catering

Alternative provision is only arranged as part of an educational package via school’s or the Local Authority.
