At Little Squirrels Torquay Community Interest company our aim is to connect children of all ages with the joys of being out in nature no matter what the weather. We enjoy stomping in puddles, squelching in mud, making fires to keep warm as well as making sun shadows, bug hotels and more.
For little ones up to 5 years old there are various outdoor groups
Woodland Play group- includes wooden toys out in nature, walk, snacks and story. Orchard Explorers- longer walk, nature based craft, exploration, games, snacks and story. Outdoor Explorers- 45 mins of walking, exploring off the beaten track (though walks can be made pram accesible a sling allows for more adventerous routes to be completed), nature craft, nature exploration, snacks and story.
Forest school sessions- 2 hrs guided by the intersts of those attending curently alternating project weeks with campfire/ fire making weeks. Split into two age groups 4-8 years and 9+. Home educated pupils very welcome.
