All staff will:
- Provide starter and/or plenary retrieval quiz to support memory and retention.
- Provide coloured paper for handouts. Exercise books with coloured pages.
- Provide coloured overlays as required.
- Dyscalculia friendly fonts, spacing and size.
- Use ‘one step at a time’ techniques, work smart/reduce demand – eg just even number questions.
- Provide access to visual and physical resources; formulae booklet, worked example book, photos of the IWB using MS teams Whiteboard, use of wipe board & pen.
- Provide regular rest breaks, movement breaks.
- Present written information with clear non-cursive writing.
