The caring atmosphere at Abbey School Nursery offers young children, first and foremost, a play situation where they are encouraged to develop all aspects of their individual learning journey through the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Activities and curriculum are designed and monitored by fully qualified professionals.  Additional activities such as swimming, dance and music enrich learning as well as outdoor play in our eco garden especially designed for our foundation stage.  Children are able to explore areas including bog garden, willow tunnel, growing area, soft surface for wheeled toys and outdoor classroom.  The wonders of our varied environment enable children to interact with and observe.  Our pupils have the freedom to explore, use their senses and be physically active and exuberant in secure surroundings.

Qualifications and training include up to date first aid, and other relevant training, EYPS, NNEB, NVQ3, Diploma in Early Years and Degree in Early Years.
