This workshop explores practical ways in which families can eat healthily at a low cost. The session includes sharing tips for shopping on a budget – e.g. frozen / tinned vegetables, menu planning to avoid waste and encourage healthy eating, shopping to a menu plan and budget, recipes for simple, healthy low-cost meals and keeping down energy costs when cooking.
The workshop is open to any parent / carer who has a child aged 12 and under.
