SUMMARY:Speech and Language Therapy Service  Virtual drop in sessions  for 
 parents and professionals
DESCRIPTION:A virtual drop in for parents of children 3 and under and profe
 ssionals who are concerned about their speech\, language and communication
  development.\n\nThis will be delivered via the ‘attend anywhere’ plat
 form.\n\nThe Speech and Language Therapist will spend up to 10 minutes lis
 tening to the parents’/professional's concerns\, asking questions and ob
 serving how the child and parent/s communicate and interact.\n\nAll famili
 es will be given advice and/or ideas to try at home. For some children\, i
 t will be recommended that they are referred to the Speech and Language Th
 erapy service for a more detailed assessment.\n\nProfessionals with concer
 ns about the SLC development of children up to the age of 3 years should e
 nsure that the child and family remain anonymous when sharing their concer
 ns via the drop in service.\n\nTuesdays 1-2.30 p.m.
